CAREER SUMMARY
Michael began his career in the mailroom of an advertising agency in Los Angeles, worked his way up to a media buyer negotiating radio and television schedules for major automotive, airline and grocery clients.  After five years in the advertising industry he went into the commercial printing business as an account executive working with clients that include major movie studios, advertising agencies, design firms, corporations and privately owned businesses producing brochures, booklets, magazines, large format graphics and books eventually joining his family’s printing company in Los Angeles and helping to expand their capabilities and services.
After nearly two decades of experience working in the commercial printing industry witnessing its rapid decline, Michael decided to utilize his personal, negotiating and graphics experience in the Real Estate industry.  In 2012 he joined a well known First Trust Deed investment company on an assignment basis as an Investor Relations Associate / Marketing Manager working with high net worth individuals to invest in short term First Trust Deeds and creating, implementing and tracking a direct mail campaign.
Michael joined DAUM in late 2012 representing both landlords and tenants in the Retail Solutions division of the Ventura County office.

EDUCATION
Michael attended the University of Arizona, Tucson majoring in Business Administration.

AFFILIATIONS
Michael has been president of his condominium HOA for 7 years, overseeing several large capital improvements, maintaining nearly 90% reserve funding and a balanced budget.
Michael is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Michael grew up in the San Fernando Valley until 1978, his family relocated to Calabasas where he attended high school.  Michael has been a resident of Thousand Oaks since 1995 and currently resides there with his son.
