DAUM REPRESENTS GIRL SCOUTS OF CALIFORNIA’S CENTRAL COAST IN NEW HEADQUARTERS LOCATION IN VENTURA, CA
Sep 10, 2013
Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast have good reason to celebrate. The council has secured a new headquarters location to house administrative offices and a retail store location. By the beginning of the New Year, Girl Scouts will be moved into new office space located at 1500 Palma Drive in Ventura where they will be occupying a portion of the first floor. Shaun Bieniek, Vice President of DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services in Camarillo who brokered the deal, reports that the transaction was just completed. “This new location will serve the Girl Scout council well. With updated facilities that are modern, light and bright, and a location that is easily accessible from the 101 Freeway corridor, the space will provide a contemporary experience for Girl Scouts and the families they serve.”
Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast will be joining tenants such as KEYT-TV Channel 3, and Scientific Being Research Foundation in “one of Ventura’s prominent office buildings” located at 1500 Palma Drive. DAUM Vice President Shaun Bieniek, represented all three tenants in their negotiations to move into this location, with the most recent being Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast where he worked with Chief Executive Officer Gina M. Jaeger, and Chief Financial Officer Nancy Tillie in negotiating a successful lease.
Bieniek said, “The 1500 Palma location is hands-down the best value for office space in Ventura.” The 35,614 square foot building was constructed in 2005 and commissioned by Michael Sipes for his flourishing ReMax franchise that was experiencing unprecedented profits. Mr. Sipes choices of upgrades to building finishes reflected the “High Times” in the residential market. Just two years later, as the residential market hit the skids, the building traded hands. The Hamilton Family Trust purchased the building as part of a 1031 exchange to be included in their portfolio.
Shaun Bieniek specializes in office sales and leasing for the Ventura County DAUM office located in Camarillo.
